Andreas is the Managing Director and Founder of Arjan Capital Ltd and Artis Trade Invest with 30 years’ experience in finance. His career spans funds, trade finance and corporate advisory roles. He has worked at J. Safra Sarasin and Jacobs Suchard (now Kraft General Foods) among others. With expertise in assisting European companies to execute their strategies and trades with emerging and frontier markets, Andreas has the specialist knowledge to facilitate complex trades whilst delivering strong returns.
With over 20 years experience in private capital markets, and with expertise in private placement, institutional fundraising, and investor relations – Nish manages all Artis’ client relationships. Holding an MSc in International Banking and Finance from Birmingham University, his career spans significant roles at Lazard, Foresight Group, and Raymond James / Cebile Capital – leading on relationship building, capital strategy and investment initiatives.
Maryam oversees operational activities with Artis Medical Ltd, Artis Trade House Ltd and Arjan Capital Ltd. Holding an MBA from Aston Business School and with wide-ranging experience in operations, sales and marketing within multiple sectors, Maryam provides expert planning and direction, so the business runs efficiently, and we deliver value to our investors and clients.
Juerg brings further expertise to our risk and investment committee. With a background in Economics, Juerg holds a master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen and has extensive experience across a broad spectrum of financial institutions, including institutional asset management at a Geneva private bank, alternative investments at a major Swiss bank and private financial consultancy. In 2000, he set up his own consulting and asset management company, WM Weibel Mueller AG.
Lanna is an experienced compliance and operations manager with an MBA from Imperial College Business School, majoring in Investment Management, Lanna has previously worked at the IFC (part of the World Bank Group) in Washington DC and is also Head of Operations and Compliance at Sturgeon Capital, an investment management firm based in London.
Mohsin graduated from Portsmouth University, UK, in 2019 with a bachelors in Petroleum Engineering, First Class Honors. Carrying his impressive academic background, he started his career as an independent freelance consultant and explored various areas including economics, trade, and finance. His versatile profile makes him a great researcher as he is adept at handling highly technical subjects.
